    In my view, evangelism is crucial in the life of the United Methodist Church and provides opportunities for lay leaders and congregations as a whole. I firmly believe that an active program of evangelism can revive a congregation that has been dormant for a period of time. However, the key to me is finding methods to engage the entire congregation in planning and execution to be effective. .
