Some scripture passages on evangelism:
- The Great Commission - And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18–20)
- So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. (II Cor. 5:20)
- You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. ( Acts 1:8)
- But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? (Romans 10:14-15)
- As you go, proclaim the good news. (Matt. 10:7)
- And what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well. (2 Timothy 2:2)
